Profile and Qualifications

I qualified as an acupuncturist in 2000, after 4 years of study and supervised clinical practice at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York (www.chinese-medicine.co.uk). 

I have built on my general experience with courses of further study such as Advanced Needling Techniques.

I absolutely enjoy my acupuncture practice.   Not only is it a rewarding and fullfilling job but I thrive on meeting so many new people and being able to help them overcome some of the difficulties they face.

I qualified in Maya Abdominal Massage (www.arvigomassage.com) in May 2207 and have attended specialist fertility training workshops by Zita West (www.zitawest.com) as well conferences on fertility (www.naturechild.co.uk and www.afc.com)

I set up and run the Edinburgh Fertility Clinic (www.edinburgfertilityclinic.co.uk) in 2006 to offer a more comprehensive treatment and support network to couples, men and women.  As well as acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, the Edinburgh Fertility Clinic offers nutritional advice, fertility guidance, western herbal medicine, counselling and hypnotherapy.

I hope to start a 2-year course in Chinese Herbal Medicine in Sept 2008.
